Yurlu Country wins AACTA – Best Sound in Documentary

Yurlu | Country has won the AACTA award for Best Sound in Documentary for 2025 at the AACTA Award Industry Gala. Huge congratualtions to Sam Hayward for recognition of his work undertaken at Edge CT in our mixing theatre. Producer and Cinematographer Tom Bannigan was also nominated for an AACTA for Best Cinematography in a Documentary, completing the online and colour grade in our facility. Among other accolades, Yaara Bou Melhem's film was won a Walkley, an ASSG award, a Silver Award for Cinematography at the NSW ACS AWARDS and now the AACTA.
